Vibe Check collects no data. No account. No analytics. No ads. Nothing leaves your phone unless you tap Share or Save.
The microphone
A Room check listens for 8 seconds. A You check listens for 15. The sound is measured as it comes in and then discarded. It is never recorded, saved, or uploaded.
You mode reads your pace, expression, and volume compared to your own usual. It does not turn speech into words.
The camera and your photos
A Scene check reads the colors of one photo, then lets it go. The app never saves your photos.
You can add a photo to a share card. It stays in memory while you edit, and closing the editor releases it.
Picking from your library uses Apple's photo picker. Vibe Check only sees the one photo you choose.
What stays on your phone
- Spots you name, like "the gym".
- Your check results: the mode, the vibe, the score, and the date.
- Your usual, if you set one: four numbers for pace, expression, volume, and steadiness.
No audio, no photos, and no transcripts are stored. Nothing syncs to iCloud. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What leaves your phone
Only a finished vibe card, and only when you tap Share or Save to Photos. It goes where you send it.
This website
No cookies. No analytics. No trackers. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles standard request data, like IP addresses, to deliver pages.
Children
Vibe Check is rated 4+ and collects nothing from anyone, at any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
